  • Rent a car at the airport to access the surrounding area and beaches

  • A majority of beaches are not organized, so be prepared with a towel or pareo

  • Expect island time. There is nothing fast paced about Todos Santos. Given its sleepy nature, don’t rely on what the internet says. Call ahead to confirm if restaurants are open

  • Prepare for early nights, as there aren’t many places open past midnight

  • Head to El Faro Beach Club (pictured above) for a day of spa treatments, poolside wifi, and cute beach cabanas

  • Surf. Duh. You can rent boards on the beach from Mario’s Surf School

  • Take a two hour horseback ride along the coast with Adventure 19

  • La Katrina Surf Shop for local surf gear

  • Upscale Bohemian finds at Nomad Chic - I picked up a beautiful handpainted silk kimono

  • Shop the local street vendors - the town itself is very walkable, so you’ll have no problem stumbling across local artisans
